I first joined Acción Inspira International Foundation as Director of Outreach in 2024, and it has been a truly rewarding experience to help expand the organization and witness the impact of our work. Now, as Director of Programs, I am excited to lead initiatives that will serve vulnerable communities while empowering youth leaders with the tools and motivation they need. Some of my passions lie in human rights and youth empowerment, which become the main driving forces behind my involvement in Acción Inspira's mission to tackle climate crises, to help communities become sustainable, and to protect people.
Aliyah Azizi

My name is Aliyah azizi and I am originally from Afghanistan, i am currently a masters student as well as the founder of Hope in Action org, Alongside my academic journey, I also serve as a Youth representative at the world food forum WFF. where I contribute to initiatives that support environmental sustainability and youth engagement.
I am deeply passionate about Youth empowerment, community development, and climate action. My work and studies are driven by a desire to create a meaningful impact and empower others to take action towards a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Maya Kollarmalil

Maya is a high school junior passionate about law, advocacy, and youth leadership. She founded and leads her school’s True Crime Club, where she hosts a podcast and organizes discussions on justice and unsolved cases. She has also researched jury bias and written for Teen Magazine. Outside of her advocacy work, Maya loves rom-coms, writing, and creating projects that amplify youth voices.
Tess Semel

My name is Tess I’m the Director of Outreach at Accion Inspira and I'm from Chicago, Illinois. I love sports, I play basketball, and I’m a huge fan of the WNBA! I also love to be in nature. Some of my favorite spots are Lake Michigan, the Boundary Waters and the Apostle Islands. I’ve always been interested in sustainability because I believe protecting the environment is key to the survival of humanity. I want my actions to make a difference in the world and am super excited for this position!

I’m Sashrika Nair, from Mumbai, India. Growing up in a city that is always moving and full of diversity has shaped me to be adaptable, open to new ideas, and inspired by different cultures. I’m passionate about design, communication, and the way creative content can bring people together. My interests lie especially in social media and marketing, where I enjoy combining visuals with storytelling to make an impact. In my free time, I love sketching and digital art, which help me express myself and keep my creativity alive. Overall, I’d describe myself as curious, creative, and eager to keep learning through every experience.

With a strong passion for business and a future goal of studying architecture, I hope to combine creativity with strategy in everything I do. “Youth unite together for the greater good? Sensational.” Greetings AIIF and the international community, I’m Keisha Jade D. Luib, a Secondary 5 student located in Hong Kong, working as a managing editor for this year’s edition of AIIF. Working with AIIF has been such a remarkable experience, which includes conducting interviews with youth leaders to transform them into impeccable anecdotes for individuals to delve into.
