Building Pathways to Action

Accion Inspira was born from the idea that the youth should take action in their own communities to counteract climate change"
Gustavo Castillo-Cruz, founder
Our Story
Acción Inspira began in 2022 as a focused school project in Rio Blanco, Nicaragua, born from a desire to ground climate conversation in the reality of our own backyard. What started as a local initiative to document environmental shifts in our community quickly evolved as we realized the potential for this work to scale. By 2024 and 2025, we had matured into an international, youth-led organization dedicated to building the infrastructure for community-based environmental stewardship. Today, we bridge the gap between local lived experience and systemic change, providing young people across the globe with the tools to record their environment and advocate for a more resilient future.

Our Mission

Executive Officer
Maya Kollarmalil
We envision a future where environmental stewardship is driven by local intelligence. We see young people as architects of their own resilience, equipped with the tools to hold systems accountable through verified, community-led evidence.
Ultimately, we strive to bridge the gap between grassroots observation and formal policy. By establishing permanent hubs for engagement, we aim to make local experience the primary driver of environmental decision-making, grounding global discourse in actionable truth.
